Shayne Hudson
A native of Maryland, Shayne Hudson was born to be a musician. As a young boy, artistic and imaginative, Shayne taught himself how to play drums, guitar and bass. Living in Dallas during the early 90’s, Shayne was heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan. It was during this time that Shayne became very serious about playing guitar and wanting to be a musician. He began his musical pursuit with genuine passion, motivation and determination; the same approach he uses today. Shayne’s diversity allows him to perform songs covering the many different styles of music over the past 3 decades. Shayne’s artistic talents, coupled with his willingness to take risks with his music, are truly showcased when he performs. A few examples of fan favorites are Shayne’s acoustical versions of Marvin Gaye, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix tunes. This diversity has allowed Shayne numerous opportunities to collaborate and perform with a number of fellow musicians.
Over the last 10 years Shayne has had countless performances at pubs, venues, festivals, charity events, etc. Shayne’s music repertoire includes 100+ cover songs and 16 originals and counting.
Original music is Shayne’s true love and what he does best. Shayne performs with a strong musicianship, and keeping the audience entertained is his number one priority. With a daily growing fan base, he is always thankful to have devoted listeners.
